Nominations were called from all brands for various categories like Mobile phone of the year, Gadget Eye candy award for the best style and design and Best Celebrity Endorsement - Brand Ambassador of the year, among others. The awards acknowledge lifestyle products, gadgets and best technologies that have made a difference in India today and change the world. On winning the award, Abhishek Bachchan commented, "It is a great honour to win the title of 'Best Brand Ambassador' for the IDEA & Motorola campaigns. The IDEA campaign carries a socially relevant message in today's commercial environment and the brilliant concept of encouraging two way communications between the government and people has connected with millions across India". He further added, "I feel proud to be associated with the best brands in the gadgets and technology space". wichy: отсюда Ramesh Sippy's son Rohan and his buddy Abhishek Bachchan are coming back together once again after Bluffmaster (2005). Abhishek's childhood friend will direct this film, mainlining Bachchan Jr in a 3D film. A source reveals, "Rohan has been trying to start his next directorial venture for a while now but had been busy with the production side of his banner. No romance now Earlier this year Rohan co-produced the Akshay Kumar-Deepika Padukone disaster Chandni Chowk to China. Now he wants to start his own film soon, as it has been four years since he last directed a film. The source further adds, "Initially Rohan was planning to make a romantic comedy after Bluffmaster but after a lot of re-thinking he has started to work on this script. The USP of this script is that it will be shot in 3D format, a rarity in Indian cinema. Only one previous movie has been in 3D in the past. It was called Chota Chetan (1984). 3D is a very tedious way of shooting and it will be a challenge for the director to shoot it." Starting soon It is believed that Rohan met up with his buddy Abhishek last week and the actor agreed to be a part of the film. Both have had meetings in the past about this script and Abhishek has finally given his nod for the same. The film is said to go on the floors later this year. wichy: отсюда Ashutosh Gowariker’s love affair with period films continues. Evidently, he has not had his fill of making larger-than-life films even after making films like Lagaan and Jodhaa Akbar. After wrapping up the Priyanka Chopra-Harman Baweja comic caper What’s Your Raashee?, which releases on September 25, Gowariker will soon start making a period film, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey. The film is based on journalist Manini Chatterjee’s book Do and Die. Abhishek Bachchan will play the lead role as the daring Surjya Sen (fondly called Masterda) who led the uprising. Ashutosh Gowariker confirmed and said, “Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey is about the Chittagong Uprising of 1930. I have purchased the rights of the book Do and Die by Manini Chatterjee.” Commenting on the genre of the film, Ashutosh said, “It will be a period-thriller film with Abhishek playing Surjya Sen.” Gowariker is still finalising the rest of the cast for the film, which, surprisingly, will not be a multi-starrer despite its large canvas. Domino: Абхи - испытываю к этому актёру глубокую симпатию. Ну, ооооочень харизматичный актёр. Обожаю, когда он дурачиться в фильмах. Этакий большой подросток. Очень понравился в "Достане". Вот села смотреть "Дели-6", надеюсь, понравится. :-)

Фильм под названием Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey будет основан на событиях Читтагонгского восстания, и Аби играет роль зачинщика восстания, Сурджьи Сена. Съемки начнутся 25 ноября. The lead pair of Ashutosh Gowariker’s next, Khelein Hum Jee Jaan Sey, which is based on the Chittagong Uprising, is finally in place. We had earlier reported that Abhishek Bachchan will play the lead role as Surjya Sen. Gowariker has now finalised Asin to play the female lead. A source said, “This will be the first time that Abhishek and Asin will be paired opposite each other. The film’s first schedule will tentatively start around November 25.” Apparently, the forthcoming film will be produced by Gowariker along with PVR Pictures and not UTV who had produced his last three films.
