We first decided on the background and then coordinated the costumes with it. And Mithunda too was quite excited. In fact, he's a designer's joy and I have never found him interrupting a designer's creativity.

Eleven contestants were present to carry forward the on-air ‘Aami o Fatakeshto’ contest that was conducted by Radio Mirchi. All the contestants had to come dressed up as Mithunda from any one of his Bengali films and had to face the three judges — Koel Mallick, the leading lady for the forthcoming, Minister Fatakesto, director Swapan Saha and dialogue-writer NK Salil. The contest was not just another way to check the phenomenal fan following that our very own ‘Disco Dancer’ has in the city but also to give a platform to some really talented people. And one thing is sure — talents knows no boundaries in age.
