И вообще, провал - не показатель плохой игры актера И чтобы Мани Ратнам тебя пригласил в свою фильму - и тебя там заметили - как это было с Аби в Yuva - надо все ж таки неплохо играть. Вот и говорю, что Мимоху играть нужно очень хорошо, потому что фактура пока не на него совсем работает - и голос, и внешность...

Rohit states: "It's a comic role. And I'm very excited about trying my hand at comedy for the first time. Also because of the banner. I freaked out on Shakti-da's Rajesh Khanna classics like Aradhana, Amar Prem and Kati Patang." In fact a lot of Khanna's mannerisms are discernible in Roy's performances. He’s about to play the role of the aging naïve gangster wanting to go straight. The film “Don Muthuswamy” is to be directed by the prolific veteran Shakti Samanta’s son Ashim Samanta. Hrishitha Bhatt is playing the lead actress role in the movie.

Wolf: MITHUN'S DON READY FOR RELEASE By Eye TV India Bureau In the News click for larger view Even after remaining ill for two consecutive days, Mithun Chakraborty managed to come on location on the 3rd day. This was a pleasant surprise for the whole unit as the actor not only refused to cow down to fever, he extended the shoot on the third day to finish off his schedules for day one and day two also. Those present on set say that the actor had to shoot for almost 14 hours in a day to complete the schedule. Besides, his performance was outstanding as usual. As a result, the movie was completed in record seven months, and is ready for release in the third week of May Incidentally, Don Muthuswami stands as one of Mithunda's most accomplished works for which he will be back in the limelight as the Grand Dad of Comedians. Interestingly, the movie is about a hardcore Don played by Mithun Chakraborty. On the advice of his dying father, Don decides to alter and improve his image. Now he wants to be called Sir Don. In the end, if Don Muthuswami does not kill somebody with a bullet, then he will definitely kill him with laughter, so ludicrous are his efforts at improvement. So, he is the Don with a difference. The star cast comprises Hrishita Bhatt, Rohit Roy, Mohit Raina, debutant Anusmriti and Shakti Kapoor, besides Mithunda. The film is produced by Shakti Samanta and directed by Ashim Samanta; screenplay is by Salim Agha and has music by Anu Mallik.

And Mimoh can’t stop raving about Loot producer Sunil Shetty for the feat. “Sunil Sir became like a second father to me during Loot’s shoot in Bangkok. Now I feel so much lighter. Of course he says he’s going to cut my fees for Loot by half because of what he has done to my bulk. Lean is in Mimoh feels the new lean look is in. I don’t think the beefy muscular look suits the leading man. I feel the lean look that Sir or Akshay Kumar have, are the best. Wolf: Memories and the man The kick surely lies in a Bollywood sex bomb being tamed into a middle class Bengali housewife but Buddhadeb Dasgupta’s Kaalpurush (Memories in the Mist) has more than just that. Kaalpurush, which has waited for more than a year to hit the theatres, is different from the rest of Dasgupta’s festival-touring films. Here’s a neat story around characters rooted in reality. The twist is in the non-linear storytelling, which is more interesting than a deglamorised Sameera Reddy. To cut a long story short, Sameera and her Bollywood co-star Rahul Bose are a dysfunctional couple with two adorable kids and a dog at their modest home in a Calcutta lane (made real by Samir Chanda’s flawless sets at Bharat Laxmi Studios). Rahul tries to reconnect with his long-lost father (Mithun), while Sameera dreams of breaking free of her stifling domestic life. He knows she is having an affair behind his back; she pities him for never getting a promotion at work. Rahul clings to the simple joys of life and memories of his father. The back-and-forth movement of the story and the smart arrangement of sequences make Mithun a mystery man — he could be dead, alive, or just a figment of his son’s imagination… Kaalpurush begins with Mithun tailing Rahul as he returns home from work, then goes back to his blissful world with wife Laboni until all hell breaks loose when a woman from his past (Sudipta) resurfaces to relive a passionate moment. The betrayal drives Laboni out of home, young Rahul in tow. While a devastated Mithun becomes a footloose traveller, Rahul bears the scar for the rest of his life. Back to the present, father and son come face to face to heal old wounds. The father-son relationship may be the core of Kaalpurush but it’s actually the women who form the framework. It’s a world where a man understands a man better, and the women are either insensitive or ambitious. If Laboni doesn’t give Mithun a second chance, Sameera walks out on Rahul to chase her writing career. Mithun no longer needs to make an effort to breathe life into complex roles. The faraway look in his eyes and the sadness in his smile say more than words. For Rahul, it’s how he says what he says that leaves a mark. The Bengali diction, the Calcutta accent — Rahul has got his dubbing just right. Sameera doesn’t spring a surprise — her changed attire and dubbed voice (by Bidipta Chakraborty and Soma Chakraborty) help her sail through.
