olga: Интервью Мимоха Pain makes you stronger - Mimoh Chakraborty interview The Disco Dancer as he is fondly called, Mithun Chakraborty is a proud father today, as his son Mimoh would soon make his debut on the silver screen with the film Jimmy. Here is the Star Son, Mimoh talking about the film and the terrible accident that laid him low while shooting.. What is Jimmy all about? Jimmy is a thriller film where I play a guy who works as a car engineer in the day time and works as a DJ in a club, during night. Jimmy has everything from songs, dance, romance and action. An incident in a film changes his life drastically. Basically it is a thriller and finally how this man tries to get things back to normal is the story. How much is the character close to you? It is little bit closer to my real self. I believe that everything should be balanced, like if I am earning Rs.3000, then I will save Rs.1500 and spend the rest because you are working for it and that's the kind of guy I am in real life as is Jimmy. He is not a total miser, but of course he lives his life in a happy way, he is happy the way he is working and he has no complaint about it and life. Is your look in the film the script demand, or you had it on your own? It is for the film that I have this look for which I have grown long hair as I play a DJ in it. But I am going to cut my hair for the film Loot. If it is required then definitely I will keep changing my looks according to the demand of the script and requirement in the film, if it helps my character. How was it working with your co-star Vivana? Vivana plays a rich spoilt brat. She has done a good job in this film. People will surely notice me in this film, but after looking at her, nobody will forget her. She has the ability to leave an impact in the viewers' mind. She is very hardworking, dedicated and loyal. We share a healthy and friendly relationship with each other. We have a comfort level but to a limit, we draw our lines where we need. We have heard that it was Sohail Khan who suggested Jimmy as the title for the film... Yeah, it's true. While shooting for the film we were searching for a title when Sohail Khan came up with the idea to my dad Mithun Chakraborty, while they were shooting for Lucky in Russia. He said since the name Jimmy is still very popular with the people everywhere especially in Russia, it would be an apt title for the film. (так вот зачем Сохейл-то приезжал! Высказать эту потрясающую идею! ) Raj Sippy's last few films did not work and when you got to know that he is directing you in your first film, were you nervous? What did you feel at that time? When I heard that Raj Sippy is directing my film, I was satisfied as he has a very good experience in direction. I feel lucky to work with him. Technically he is superb. He has done so many good films with my dad before, so he is a good director and it does not matter if his last few films haven't worked. I feel comfortable and proud that he has directed me in my first film. Any interesting incident you remember that happened on the sets of Jimmy? There was a fight scene where I had to jump from a door. I told Mehmood sir that I will do that and in spite of my fear for height, I did that and the muscle of my right leg got pulled. All became tense as I had to be taken to the hospital. I had to go through X-ray machines and also couple of injections was given. Daddu sir(Raj Sippy) called my dad and informed him, and in reply my dad said that if his left leg is ok, then shoot with his left leg but the shoot should not get cancelled; he is so professional. I did the scenes with my scrammed leg and finished it even when it was paining a lot. Pain makes you stronger. Your expectations with Jimmy. High, I don't regret with any part of the film. Whatever was necessary, accordingly we have made the changes and as a newcomer I am happy with Jimmy. I am satisfied with all the effort that has gone into the film, because film making has always been a team work. Any other projects you are working on? I would be soon going to Thailand to shoot for Suniel Shetty's Loot.

olga: Митхун купил крикетную команду "Калькуттские Тигры" Actor Mithun Chakraborty buys ICL's Kolkata Tigers Wed, Mar 26 07:11 PM Kolkata, March 26 (IANS) Following the steps of Bollywood king Shah Rukh Khan, Tollywood superstar Mithun Chakraborty has bought the Kolkata Tigers team of the Indian Cricket League (ICL). Mithun Da, as he is popularly called in West Bengal after he shifted to the Bengali film industry from Bollywood, told IANS: 'Yes, I have bought the Kolkata Tigers of the ICL. Thursday everything will be formally announced after completing some legal formalities. 'I have always been a sports lover and had organised the Raj Kapoor Trophy in Chembur, Mumbai, for several years where big stars played. But it was not just passion that made me buy the team, there is business in it also.' The king of disco dance said: 'I am an entertainer and Twenty20 is a fantastic form of entertainment. There is craze and good business in it. So I decided to try my luck.' Asked how much he spent on the team, Mithun said: 'At present I cannot reveal the figure, but it is certainly a triple digit in crores (tens of millions).' He said after completing the formalities he would go for an overhaul of the team and add to its sheen by giving it a logo along with a slogan and a theme song. On whether he wanted to rename the side Bengal Tigers, he said: 'I have strongly recommended it. Kolkata is the capital of Bengal, but my side will represent all the people of the state. I have fans in every corner of the state.' Asked what made him go for a team in ICL and not Indian Premier League (IPL), Mithun said: 'I woke up late. The realisation that I could even own a team and make it into a profitable business venture dawned late on me. 'There is no question of competing with Shah Rukh Khan. He is one of the finest gentlemen I have come across and he gives a lot of respect to his co-stars. Besides, you can't compare our popularity. He is way above me.' On whether his Bengal Tigers would imbibe his fighting spirit, the reigning hero of Tollywood said: 'Undoubtedly so. Life has never been a bed of roses for me. I have fought for everything and my team will be a fighter too.'

A fortnight after the gala launch of King Khan's Kolkata Knight Riders team for the multimillion dollar Indian Premier League, rival Zee-promoted Indian Cricket League has roped in 'Mithun Dada' to be the franchisee owner of one of its sides 'Kolkata Tigers'. "Yes, I have said 'Yes' to ICL. I was always interested in floating a soccer or cricket side. Now I have an opportunity," said Mithun in Kolkata, who inked an agreement with ICL Tuesday night. Cricketing circles feel the rebel league bosses opted for Mithun, who rose from the ranks in Kolkata to make it big in Mumbai films and still holds a huge fan following in the West Bengal capital, to counter the massive propaganda mileage the IPL got in the city and across the country after SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment won the franchisee rights for the Kolkata Knight Riders. Mithun's presence could also help in boosting the brand image of the Craig McMillan-led team, which has attracted little attention from the media or sports aficionados ever since it came into being last year. Mithun admitted his 'gharer chele" (son of the soil)' image in the city would win him some additional votes from cricket buffs across the city and West Bengal. But beyond that, he did not wish to go into any comparison with SRK. "They (SRK and IPL) have their own way of seeing things. I have mine. So, there can be no comparison. But I can tell you one thing. I shall not flee from the ground without a fight." To encash on his popularity across the state, the seasoned tinsel town hero was in favour of changing the name of the side to 'Royal Bengal Tigers'. "People from all parts of Bengal love me, be it Malda district in North Bengal or Bolpur in South Bengal's Birbhum district. "My fans across the state stay up whole night to have a glimpse of me. Why should I confine my team only to Kolkata and deny the rest of the state?" he asked. Mithun said he would try to recruit some new players and support staff for the side. "Just wait and see," he quipped. Mithun said he would also lay stress on unearthing talents from the grassroots in Bengal.

wichy: отсюда Yes, it is final. Mimoh Chakraborty would finally be making his big screen debut and his first film would be JIMMY. Eying for a likely release on 18th April, the film's promos have started bombarding the small screen in a big way with the makers leaving no stones unturned to ensure that the film gets adequate eyeballs. First two songs from the film are already out and one factor which stands out is Mimoh's dancing skills. Matching with the best in the business, Mimoh's moves truly remind one of the kind of waves which his father Mithun Chakraborty made when he made a sensational appearance in DISCO DANCER. Arriving under the banner of High-Definition Motion Pictures, JIMMY is produced by Nawman Malik and Salman Malik and directed by Raj N Sippy who has worked with Mithun in many a flick before. Others in the film's star cast include Nilofer, Gargi Patel, Pooja Singh, Zulfi Syed, Aashish Vidyarthi, Ehsaan Khan, Rati Agnihotri, Vikas Kalantri, Rahul Dev and Shakti Kapoor. Алёна: или играть немых героев-любовников да помимо голоса у него и внешность не геройская ни разу..с таким лицом только плакать на плече у мамки и жаловаться на неутраченную до сих пор невинность так что акцент ему делают правильно - на фактуру и движение, остального просто нет
