A furious SRK stalked out of the sets of Star’s ‘Kya Aap Paanchvi Pass Se Tez Hai?’ a television gameshow featuring him. Apparently a 10-year-old student sprang up and fielded a question which left the actor flummoxed. In the show, based on the international ‘Are you Smarter than a 5th Grader’ in which grade-school level questions are put to adults. Contestants are presented with the chance to win up to Rs 5 crore by answering questions taken from the syllabus of the fifth grade level or lower. Children are part of the show and are the contestant’s ‘classmates’. The show is to air on Star Plus soon. Let’s roll, guys SRK was filming at the Haji Ali studio Letsroll yesterday. Wolf: SRK's IPL has taken a setback By Webmaster, 5 April, 2008 Bollywood actor Shahrukh Khan may be doing well in his film career but his cricket game has taken a setback. He has signed Pakistani speedster Shoaib Akhtar for his team Kolkata Knight Riders but he is likely to be banned from playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL). The IPL Governing Council has decided to ban the troubled cricketer following five years ban imposed on him by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for indiscipline. It is said that the IPL Council has banned him to avoid embarrassment all-around. Meanwhile, Shahrukh Khan is doing all he can to bring Shoaib back to his team. He knew that he can hire another player but he wants him back. He said that he would speak to BCCI and IPL Commissioner Lalit Modi on the matter and try to lift the ban. He is of the opinion that Shoaib should be allowed to play in the domestic cricket though he is banned from international cricket.

Wolf: SRK miffed with Roshan Family By Webmaster, 8 April, 2008 When Shah Rukh agreed to do the Krazzy 4 song, producer Rakesh Roshan promised him that if Hrithik’s knee healed, and if he did shoot the same song, then it would only be part of the end credits of the film, and not be used to promote the film. However, both the songs are now being aired on all channels. Dancing is Hrithik’s forte and pitching King Khan against him in a song is an unfair advantage to the former. There are bound to be comparisons that aren’t favourable towards SRK, who did the song as a goodwill gesture. Says a distributor, on the condition of anonymity, “There was an unspoken understanding between Shah Rukh and Roshan Sr that Hrithik’s dance number would only be seen in the film. But the other song promos were not catching on and the film was looking thanda, so at the distributors’ insistence, he released Hrithik’s song for publicity. Rakesh doesn’t like putting in dialogues or film scenes so the only other alternative was to use Hrithik’s number.” The source adds, “SRK did the song in good faith helping out a friend as Hrithik’s knee was in bad shape but now he is probably feeling cheated. A similar thing happened to Shah Rukh even during Heyy Babyy. Sajid Nadiadwala had promised the actor that they wouldn’t use his special appearance in the Mast Kalandar song to promote the film; but they did. It’s time SRK stopped doing favours to people because ultimately, it’s only about business here and making money.” Shah Rukh stated that he hadn’t made any conditions about only using his song to promote the film. The only girl that came up to the mark was Simran, who was brought to Bombay, along with her family. According to Hindustan Times, while training Simran to face the camera, Aditya had doubts about her ability to do justice to the role, prompting him to look for alternatives. One young and talented Punjabi girl that the whole country already knew about was Sonam Kapoor. Sonam's father Anil Kapoor, himself a talented actor, was receptive to the idea, and several meetings later Sonam was on board. It is not clear what prompted Aditya to bring Deepika, who already has her hands full with projects, into the fray. His upcoming film Dostana (directed by newcomer Tarun Mansukhani) will be no exception. If all goes well Shah Rukh Khan will do an item song in Dostana, which also stars Abhishek Bachchan, Priyanka Chopra and Aishwarya Rai. According to our source, last week Karan and Shah Rukh spoke about the same, and SRK readily agreed. Our source informs us, "There was a time when most movies had a special number from a sexy gal. Many Bollywood beauties have entertained the audience with their item numbers. But times have changed. But all the three principal actors Amitji, Shatrughanji and Zeenat Aman co-operated to the fullest.
