He will halt for a while at a height of 40 ft and wave out to his fans, sign autographs for his fans etc. The event is scheduled to take place on June 20 at City Centre in Kolkata." Akshay is looking forward to it and says, "Any endorsement is a commitment, because I want to do it and add value to it. I like to fulfill my commitments to the best of my abilities and am doing just that. I am looking forward to it, as I will be rappelling down an 80 ft hoarding in a mall and then break my rappel at 40 feet to wave out to my fans and sign autographs and then continue. АКШАЙ : За свою карьеру я успел поработать с семью режиссерами, которые только начинали снимать свои фильмы и все семь раз картины были очень удачны. Furthermore this has been done with a clear mandate to tarnish and damage our image”, explains Akshay. “We are aware that we are public figures and accept and understand that we would be in constant public glare, but we definitely have an objection to baseless and incorrect stories based on a figment of imagination.” So will he be taking any action against the newspaper? “A legal notice has been sent to the concerned publication and we will take them to court. A petition in this regard will also be filed in the court. We do not feel this article published warrants any comments from our side besides what has been listed above and therefore would leave it to our legal representation to handle.”, concludes Akshay. Akki the khiladi can make people fall off from their seats with his sense of humour and comic timings and can perform his own dare devil stunts without a sweat on his forehead. But in the recent past, we haven't seen him kick the bad guys or jump off a fifty floor building. What we have seen the actor do is bring the house down by playing fun loving characters and cracking rib-tickling dialogues in films like Phir Hera Pheri, Bhagam Bhag and Namastey London. Akshay Kumar talks to IndiaFM about his latest offering Heyy Babyy, a film which he thinks will send out an important message to all the parents around the world. Knowing Sajid Khan's flair for comedy, how did you react to the script when you first read it? Heyy Babyy is a film very close to me because it reminds me of the relationship which I share with my son. Parenthood teaches you responsibility and makes you grow up and Aarav my son has brought that stability in my life. So when I read the script, it made me react instantly to it only because of the relationship me and my son share with each other. Of course, the film was like my first film. Everyone with whom I worked was a newcomer for me because I was working with the entire cast and my director Sajid Khan for the first time. I've known Sajid for more than two decades and I knew that nobody could have made a film with a combination of comedy and sensibility with such responsibility. Nobody could have made a film with a combination of comedy and sensibility with such responsibility like Sajid has. Isn't Heyy Babyy a remake of Hollywood film Three Men and a Baby? You can call it a remake but I think it's not. Yes, I do agree that there are three men - Me, Fardeen and Riteish along with a baby. But that's it. The characters might be the same but the story isn't. The film will make you laugh but it might make you cry too. You never know. Describe your role in the film. I play a generation-X, very shallow, selfish to core and a future without any goal kind of a guy. Wow! What a description. (Laughs) Then this baby comes in our life and the transformation which all the characters including mine takes place, is something that everyone should look forward to. There isn't much to describe any character in the film but is more to look forward to as I said earlier. How was your first time with Riteish, Fardeen and Vidya Balan? To be honest with you, it was a bit difficult working with all of them for the first time when we started shooting but then it was all smooth. We had a blast together. Riteish is great with comedy and surprisingly Fardeen is superb in Heyy Babyy. The characters might be the same as ‘Three Men and a Baby’ but the story isn't. Filming with a baby is the toughest part. Did you learn anything from the youngest member of the cast? I learned how to be a super star because the baby was the real hero of this film. Even the name of the film is Heyy Babyy. The baby had two nurses and a doctor with it. The baby could wake up anytime it wanted to, shoot only two hours a day, could vomit on anybody and would get everything when it wanted. Now you tell me, isn't the baby a real super star? We can learn so much from a super star, can't we? When is Akshay Kumar going to kick the baddies and punch the villains next? I am going to start a full fledged action film next year and believe me, I am itching to get back to action. My next film which will be released after Heyy Babyy will most probably be Bhool Bhulaiya and the next two films after that which I have signed are Made in China and Singh is King. What makes the song very special in which you, Riteish and Fardeen do a full monty? I think there are so many women who do item numbers in films and it's time that we men put on high heels and start shaking our bum. Obviously, this is in context to the film only but we do this particular full monty song to earn money for the upbringing of the baby. What is different working with a first time director like Sajid Khan whom you know since more than twenty years as a friend? Sajid is a guy who is born with a funny bone. I think the Indian Film Industry should be proud of him, because he is an exceptionally good actor who has turned into an extraordinary director. Do you miss your partner in crime Paresh Rawal in Heyy Babyy? Yes, I've enjoyed working with him in so many films we've done together which I can't even remember now. But I do miss him and his company. Actually, I am also looking forward to Bhool Bhulaiya in which we both will be seen together again. We all know what Sanjay Dutt is going through in what's considered to be the most difficult phase of his life. What do you think will happen next? All I know is that I am waiting for Sanju to come out in the open air again and face the camera. My heart says that he is going to come out again and come out stronger. He will soon be in action. He has gone through a lot and we all can see it. I pray to God for him and hope the best for him. Why should one go and watch Heyy Babyy? There are many reasons why one should go and watch this film. One because it has a combination of sensitivity and humour. Two, because every member of the family whether it's your dad, mom or even grand parents, they will enjoy this film. Three, because there is a lot of old school humour in Heyy Babyy and everybody loves a bit of slapstick comedy. Earlier I've only done films with situational comedy. Lastly, I will say that Heyy Babyy is the funniest film that will make you cry. Heyy Babyy is the funniest film that will make you cry. Where do we see Akshay Kumar five years from now? I might still be struggling to survive in this industry. Any message for your fans? Transformation is the most important thing when a man becomes a father. I have been through it and I hope so have many others who are reading this interview. I hope they come and watch this film because they are surely going to identify with each and every character in the movie. God Bless!

The film is very close to my heart since it reminds me of my relationship with my son. The film mirrors the journey of a fancy-free bachelor who becomes responsible with parenthood. That’s what Aarav did for me. He made me grow up and be more responsible. He brought stability in my life. So when Heyy Babyy came up I decided to do it for Aarav’s sake. If I have to describe the film, I’d say that it’s the funniest film that will make you cry. When Aarav saw the theatrical trailer of the film in a Mumbai multiplex, he demanded an encore. True? I had taken Aarav and his friends for a film and the moment the trailer came on the kids started clapping. They demanded an encore so they had to re-run it. He was like a proud son when he saw his father on screen. He thoroughly enjoyed the trailer. He laughed the hardest when I was being slapped. I think he enjoyed seeing his father get slapped. Does Aarav get possessive when he sees you playing daddy on screen? (Laughs) My son is four years old. He’s intelligent and knows that it’s just a movie. Which of your films does Aarav like? I don’t think he likes any of my films. He enjoys cartoons more. And I prefer that. I like children to be children. I get very disturbed when I see little kids on television wearing suggestive clothes and imitating Madhuri Dixit expressions. I feel programmes like this kill a child’s innocence. So I don’t encourage my son to watch my films. What kind of a father are you? I think I’m a great father. I’m a caring father. I like to spend as much time as I can with my son. My desire is to take him around the world before he turns 10 and I’ve already covered half the world. Were you a hands-on dad when Aarav was a baby? Did you change nappies and wake up in the middle of the night? (Laughs) Well I wasn’t as hands-on as my wife, Tina, since I was away for shooting but whenever I was home I did my share of changing nappies and waking up when he used to cry in the middle of the night. There is a line in Heyy Babyy where you say, “Men are dogs”. Do you agree with the statement? (Laughs out loud) Actually I’ve improvised the line in the film where I say that men are not dogs, because dogs are faithful. I agree with this statement. Men are not dogs, they are foxes. You stripped for a song in the film, did you enjoy taking your clothes off? It was awesome. I think we’ve had enough of girls stripping in films and it’s time we gave men a chance. I’m sure women with agree with me. I’m not a male chauvinist you see. Apparently, the baby in the film loved you the most. To be honest the baby loved Riteish Deshmukh more. Whenever we wanted the baby to smile, we would make Riteish stand in front of her. Whenever we wanted the baby to cry, we would make Fardeen stand in front of her and whenever we wanted the baby to be without any expression, I was asked to stand in front of her.

The film will be produced by Warner Bros. and veteran Bollywood production house Ramesh Sippy Prods. Director Advani's banner Orion Pictures Pvt Ltd. will co-produce, represented by founding partner Mukesh Talreja. It was not clear what role, if any, Warner Bros.' Chinese joint venture with the state-run China Film Group and private film studio Hengdian Group might take in the production. Earlier this year, CFG's China Film Co-production Corp. said China hoped to sign a film co-production treaty with India by the end of the year (HR 6/20). While Warner Bros. did not disclose the budget and financial terms for "China," it said plans to distribute the film worldwide in late 2008 following the Beijing Olympics. "At the turn of the century there was a lot of promise in the air about globalization in Indian cinema, and now with this venture RSP and Orion are joining hands with Warner Bros. in bringing that dream closer to reality," Sippy said. "What we hope to achieve at the minimum is a greater knowledge and understanding of the workings and systems of Hollywood and the Indian film industry. I am sure we both stand to gain a lot from each other." Added Warner Bros. Entertainment India country manager Blaise Fernandes: "We are excited and proud to be working with such respected partners as Ramesh Sippy and Orion. We'll count on our partners' expertise and will do everything in our power to make a well-crafted, popular and successful Indian film." RSP's recent productions include "Bluffmaster" and "Taxi No. 9211" while Sippy himself directed India's all-time biggest blockbuster, 1975's "Sholay" (Burning Embers). Now, Akshay Kumar who has been doing consecutive hits is all set with his latest comic film 'Heyy Babyy' which according to him is a very special film. At Rajasthan's Jaisalmer city shooting for Yash Raj film's upcoming film 'Tashan,' Akshay spoke on various issues candidly with exclusively over phone from Jaisalmer despite his hectic schedule. 'Heyy Babyy,' he said, it is a very special movie for me, because i have done this film only for my little son Aaarav. And i did this because I had never worked with a child artiste, and with this film i have learned that how difficult is this to shoot a film with a child artiste," he said. They (producer and director) ensure everything for the baby Juhaina who has played vital role in the film. Mind you this baby is only star in the film and we had three doctors and three nurses round the clock for the baby, he said. "At this stage of my career, working with the child artiste taught me that they are big stars," Akshay Kumar said. There was no shooting when the baby was sleeping, we were instructed not to disturb the mood of baby when he was having food. All of us (Ritesh Deshmukh, Fardeen Khan, Akshay Kumar) had to wait on the set to get his mood right for the shoot. It was also heard that during the shooting of the film, Akshay proved to be the best babysitter as whenever the baby got into restless mood on the sets, Akki used to take baby onto his lap and soothe her. Up to some extent that's true. Not only me but Ritesh too had looked after the baby well. It was a memorable experience that would not be forgotten, he said. On the storyline of the film, Akshay, said, "Main kuch nahien bataoonga (I will not tell anything)." All what I can tell you is that people of every age especially kids, parents and grandparents are going to enjoy the film. It is the funiest film that would also make people cry." Is it true that the film is based on famous Hollywood film 'Three men and a baby?' No, only similarly in our film is that we too have three men and a baby but it is an altogether different film in terms of story telling and direction," he said. Akshay recalls how he called his costar Vidya Balan up and pretending to be an Australian journalist requested for a interview. She agreed and I interviewed her for about 20 minutes, I had switched on the speaker of my cellphone and let other crew members listen to our conversation. She did that interview so seriously." 'Heyy Babyy' is the directorial debut of anchor Saajid Khan (Farah Khan's brother). Akshay Kumar said he " I know him for the last 20 years. With this film I can say confidently that film industry has lost a comic actor but we got a good director who would be appreciated for the work he has done in Heyy Babyy." On his stunts and actions the actor says he is ready with Nikhil Advani's 'Made in China' in which he would be seen with all stunts and action. "I have done action again almost after five years. Even more unique is the maritial arts discipline selected to make the actioner look virgin-virile. Akshay Kumar who hasn't done a full-on action film in seven years, is currently joined at the 'hype' with his lissome co-star Deepika Padukone to train in a subtle strain of martial arts known as Wushu whose chief practitioner on the large screen so far have been Jackie Chan and Jet Lee. Akshay Kumar has always idolized Jackie Chan and has to an extent, modeled his career on his Chinese peer. In Made In China he gets to do a full-on homage to his idol. "Akshay has been a martial arts student for years," director Nikhil Advani tied down by contract, says reluctantly. "The Wushu style is very big in China. Jet Li and Jackie Chan constantly practice it." Deepika Padukone is an athelete's daughter and has played badminton for several years on the national level. She's currently undergoing rigorous training in Wushu. Apparently the script was written with Akshay Kumar in mind. Says Advani, "My writer Sridhar Raghavan and my Indian producer Rohan Sippy designed the film with Akshay in mind. It was either Akshay or no one else for the role. Made In China will be shot at a stretch in six months from January to May 2008 in China. Боевое у-шу - это просто более высокая ступень. Конг-фу (или кунг-фу в зависимости от наречия во вьетнамском языке, китайский термин "гун-фу") обозначает "совершенствующийся человек". Confirming the development to Businessofcinema.com, Venus Records and Tapes, director Champak Jain says, “For the Abbas-Mustan film, we are in talks with Akshay Kumar. The rest of the cast is also being finalised.” Venus is planning to make three films with directors Abbas-Mustan, David Dhawan and Priyadarshan. Amongst them, Abbas-Mustan’s would be the first one to roll. Speaking about the total budget of the three films, Jain reveals, “All the films will be big budget projects and we are planning to invest around Rs 60 crores (Rs 600 million) for the three films.”As has already been reported by Businessofcinema.com, Venus is planning to launch a Rs 5 billion (Rs 500 crores) IPO by the end of this year and hence is also stepping up on its film production plans. Akshay Kumar has earlier worked with Abbas – Mustan in movies like “Khiladi”, “Ajnabee” and “Aitraaz”. OLA: wichy : Singh is King, где Акки будет играть сикха (правда, бритого). Для фильма Акки соорудили тюрбан - за целых 65 лакхов (с брюликом по центру)
