Those are rather honest words from Salman Khan about the film he hopes will release next month, after lying in the cans for nearly two years. From Maine Pyaar Kiya to Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya and Mujhse Shaadi Karogi to Shaadi Karke Phas Gaya Yaar, Salman just cannot make up his mind. "That’s my life — full of contradictions. So I guess it comes naturally to me," he said. So moving away from the bleak topic of the film, it was time to talk about happier things — marriage, for instance. "Marriage is quite a funny thing. Ekta Kapoor is making money out of it," he said. So when will Salman finally say 'I do'? "Everyone says it's the best thing to get married and I say, 'Yeah right. Maybe I should try it one of these days.' By the way my dad is really happy because he's got two wives and they're both happy too. They both get along fine," said Salman. Vetla: Посмотрела "Кто ты для меня?" Ребята, это ж обалдеть! Ну как я могла думать, что индийское кино - туфта? Ах-ах, недостойно думающего человека! Каюсь . Но фильм прекрасный с любой точки зрения. А уж как красиво показана свадьба!.. Ну и сама история за душу берет. Салман сильно играет, очень сильно. Мне вот интересно, я прочла и неоднократно, мол, кривляется много. Может, люди просто его актерскую специфику не понимают? Я два фильма уже с ним видела, все пыталась кривляние рассмотреть, и никак. Не подскажете, где, считается, он уж так плох? Сама хочу посмотреть, чтобы не терять трезвости головы.

Lo: Vetla Tere Naam этот фильм в российском прокате вышел под названием "Все отдаю тебе" вот так примерно может выглядеть обложка: кстати, я тоже считаю, что это сама сильная роль у Саля на сегодняшний день... ну, из того, что я видела с ним. А "Кто я для тебя?" это как раз легендарный "Hum Aapke Hain Kaun" про кривляние Салмана говорят много, для меня он кривлялся в фильме "Навеки твоя", но даже не во всем фильме, а именно в конце второй части...

Ну точно, у нас с Сонией вкусы совпали тока на грузине :-) Из сильного, что я с Салманом порекмендовала бы посмотреть: 1. Ну конечно же, "Навеки твоя" - даже не ради Салмана, хотя в первой части фильма он достаточно хорош (для любителя Салмана), но во второй части кривляется безбожно, согласна. Просто сам фильм - ИМХО шедевр. 2. Мир музыки - тоже отличнейший фильм. И Салман там тоже не очень кривляется. 3. Все отдаю тебе - ну, об этом уже написали. 4. Сердце, не перестающее биться - тоже любителям Салмана стоит посмотреть, музычка хорошая, сюжет приятный. Из того, где Салман кривляется (сразу скажу, фильмы сами по себе дерьмовые не буду советовать - чтобы не отбить у человека свежеприобретенную любовь к индийской кинопродукции): 1. Выходи за меня замуж - комедия, вполне стоящая просмотра (хотя мне лично не нравится совершенно - но многие любят) 2. Танцовщица "Голубой луны" - Салман кривляется безбожно, но хорошая музыка, красивая Урмила. 3. С любимой под венец (Завидная невеста) - тоже комедия, тоже кривляется :-) 4. Лаки - не время для любви - поржать можно над тем, как индусы представляют Россию. На первое время, думаю, хватит :-)
Gauri: Мне лично в принципе Салу нравится,не во всех фильмах,но вот например в фильме Сердце не перестающее биться мне очень понравилось,как он сыграл с Прити,он там так правдоподобно выразил боль от потери жены(Паро)которая погибает в автомобильной аварии,мне было так жалко его в этом фильме.

Персик: Я к нему отношусь лояльно. Хотя, признатся, узнав, какой он в жизни, я не могу воспринимать его в некоторых ролях. Например, в роли в "Чужом ребёнке".

Vetla: Спасибо за советы. Млин, где теперь только найти все эти фильмы, чтобы мнение-то составить... Вот я посмотрела "Единственная". Шакруху там, конечно, выпала довольно драматическая роль. (Я, кстати, с удивлением вижу, как великолепно индийские актеры выражают сильные чувства! Так отличается мое нынешнее впечатление от смутных прошлых.) А Салман там кажется не слишком убедительным, хотя пытается показать развитие персонажа. Но ему, честно говоря, играть нечего, роль режиссером не выстроена, мне кажется, а сам Салман старается.
wichy: Единственное приятное у меня впечатление от Салмана в "Единственной" - совместная с Мадхури песня "Galii mein laal tai" - абажжаю, какая там Мадхури - пэстня, а Салман кривляется как раз подходяще...

Когда речь идет о Сальмане из изобилия его ролей почему то вспоменаю сразу имено этот фильм и Saajan!остальное все-в пролете полном!. а вот как бы это смотрелось бы сегодня трудно судить..надо будет пересмотреть как нибудь

"There's a business section that wants to portray everything negatively so that they can sell magazines or get good top ratings on TV," Salman was quoted as saying in the BBC Asian Network's Gagan Grewal show Friday. The 41-year-old actor has been charged with killing two protected antelope species in 1998. Again in April he was given a five-year jail term - currently under appeal - for a separate hunting incident. He is currently on bail while his appeal is being heard. Salman has denied these wrongdoings, saying his conviction was wrong and the judge sentenced him only because he wanted to make an example out of him. "Apparently the judge said that openly," Khan told the anchor. "They wanted to set an example out of me... Who knew the black buck? I mean today because of me, people know there's an endangered species of deer called black buck, well it's actually an antelope." He is also facing trial in a hit-and-run case in Mumbai. He's in trouble yet another time. This time Cinevista directors have declared an open war against the star for having made life miserable for them during the shooting of their film Garv - Pride and Honour. Upset with Salman maligning their production house, the company intends to sue the actor for breach of contract. Almost a year after Salman filed a criminal complaint against the directors of Cinevista Ltd for recovery of money (Rs 26.42 lakh) due to him as professional fees for acting in, Cinevista director Prem Kishen recounts an unpleasant working experience with the star, who. "It's a pity that people only heard Salman Khan's version. Nobody tried to get in touch with us. But now we are planning to sue Salman Khan for delaying our project and making our life miserable with his unreasonable behaviour," says Prem Kishan. The producer feels that it was a wrong decision to sign Salman Khan for the film, which was directed by Puneet Issar. "He would enter the sets in a drunken stupor. He would not only misbehave with the unit members, but would also refuse to work with them. He would insist that we hire technicians and artistes who he is comfortable with," says Kishan. Talking about his woes, Kishan says, "Salman has troubled us a lot. We had a difficult time with him. It is very difficult to work with Salman. I am ready to talk about this in the open because he has been talking about us everywhere. We had to face a lot of financial losses because of his whimsical attitude. So, recently we've ordered a 'stop payment' for his dues. He would never come on the sets on time and our film got delayed because of him," he says. Apparently, it wasn't easy to complete the film. "Yes, we had to really push him to complete the film. Salman played games with us. He is a troublesome actor. We had to put up with his tantrums to ensure the completion of our film. Over and above that, he has been creating unnecessary tamasha about us and the company," he says. But will it be easy for the production house to sustain itself after declaring an open war against Salman Khan? "If he is Salman Khan, I am Premnath's son. I also hail from the family of Prithviraj Kapoor. So all these factors don't bother me," he says. So couldn't they have sorted it out privately? "We are always open to discussion. The ball is in Salman's court now," he replies.
Vetla: Понятно, что Салман не сахар. Но, надо сказать, киношка по сюжетцу так себе, образ там у Салмана такой уж ходульный, хотя он как раз сделал все, чтобы его оживить. Не удивляюсь, что у него было плохое настроение и "приступы раздражительности". И что приходилось заливать глаза, прежде чем открывать рот для произнесения очередных пышных глупостей.
Vetla: "Медовый месяц" с индийским кино прошел. Начинается "медовый год". Непонятно, как это я жила без всего этого? Салмановских фильмов тоже насмотрелась. Я же собиралась составить о нем мнение. Составила. Все-таки я в рядах почитателей, это талантливый актер. Но помогите дополнить мозаику о личности, pls. Sonya, залезла в архив, прочла, что ты видела его "живьем" и он тебе не понравился. А многие актрисы, вроде Шилпы, пишут, что он "сладкий" и такой благородный и пр. Может, изменился? Пожалста, пожалста, расскажи о своих впечатлениях! Мне же никогда в жизни такого не выпадет!

Vetla: Спасибо! Я так понимаю, "первый раз" был давно. Он, видать, был тогда молодой и заносчивый. Недаром Амир Кхан, индийская совесть нашей эпохи , сильно его не залюбил когда-то. Я так и не выяснила, что произошло, но предполагаю. А щас, да, как не поглядишь на фото - чрезвычайно терпеливо и одиноко стоит рядом с красующимися довольными поклонниками Ты, конечно, молодец, Sonya, что "проникаешь везде". Ты - наши глаза. Мы - большой зубастый рот (до ушей) А почему на шоу не понравился? Ну, расскажииии поподробнееее...
Vetla: Ой, посмотрела я классную комедию. "Лаки" называется. Кто видел, поймет мое веселье. От клюковка с малиновкой! Я хихикала весь фильм. По-доброму. по-доброму, конечно! Не, к актерам претензий нет. Салман милый, девчоночка эта - вообще прелесть и на Айшварию похожа, есть согласные? Но уж сценариус и режиссериус - это что-то с чем-то. И медведя-таки приплели! а уж от мрачной картины нашей расейской жизни у меня у самой мурашки бегали. И тоже ржали.
Иза: Привет всем!!! Я тоже очень большая поклоница Салмана. Думаю он очень класный парень, мой любимый фильм: Hum saat-saat hain (Нас не разлучить). Мне не нравится,как оголяются актрисы в наше время. Не любой фильм сейчас можно посмотреть в семейной компании, но этот фильм именно семейный, такой же фильм Кто я для тебя. Вообще обидно ,про многих создают индивидуальные сайты, а про Салу же на русском языке ничего нет.Что я вспомнила,где то я читала, что жена Риши Капура и 3 её подруги большие поклоницы Салу, даже здороваются хайлз Салман.Очень бы хотела посмотреть фильм Kyon ki, если у кого то есть ,скиньте пожалуйста.

(When marriage has to happen, it happens.)" He seems to be in the mood to go on, on the topic of marriage. "There are various reasons and ways one would get married. It could be for love, it could be arranged, or then it could be for children. I know the reason why I would get married, or why I wouldn't get married. You choose one appropriate reason and get married. You marry first and then I will follow suit." (This last is accompanied by a mischievous grin.) It's only acting, not rocket science Salman's casual yet committed approach is appreciated by his directors. "I never rehearse. I believe in giving the final shot in the first or second take, and that makes my director happy," he shrugs. Ask him about the changes he has got into his style of acting, particularly in the different genres of films like Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Khamoshi and Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam, David Dhawan's Judwaa and Biwi No 1, Sohail Khan's Hello Brother, and Salman retorts, "What change in acting style? I've been the same since I was born. Acting is no rocket science, you don't need to be an Einstein to act. It has to come from the heart. Dil se feel karke acting jab karte hain to woh acting nahin kehlati, natural lagta hai. (When you feel from the heart and perform, it looks natural.)" A FRIEND IN NEED There are an umpteen number of stories that keep circulating in the film industry about Salman's loyalty towards his family and friends. Yet today he wouldn't like to add any new name to this list. "It takes a lot of time — 10, 12, 15, 20, 40 years — to build a relationship. I have not made any new friend in a long time now, I only have acquaintances. And I don't need anyone either as I have my brothers, Sohail and Arbaaz, my sisters, Alvira and Arpita, my parents, Helen aunty, David Dhawan, Sajid Nadiadwala. We are okay," he smiles. * "Arre, milte nahin hain endorsements, karna kaun nahin chahta? (I don't get offers). The corporates don't want to touch me, may be because there are cases against me" Salman has worked with many lesser-known filmmakers just because he has 'liked them'. You never hear of him stealing roles from his contemporaries, chopping their roles or sucking up to the big banners. I work with anyone who comes with a good script, and has grey matter. The most important thing is that I should like the person, only then I sign a film with him. I need to spend 15 to 20 days with that person, 15 to 20 days even before I commit to him. And once I feel ki main unko jhel sakta hoon aur woh mujhe jhel sakte hain (I can work with him and he can work with me), then I say 'yes' to the project. After all, I am also not a great human being." Salman is one of the few top stars who has worked with many new heroines, even at the peak of his career. "I don't get into that department, I leave that to my producer and director," he says, sounding disinterested. THE MANY FACES OF SALLU At any point of his career has any actress or filmmaker refused to work with him? "First of all, I won't give anyone a chance to do so. Main aisa mauka hi nahin doonga. But if such a time comes when I'm not in the top bracket, I will make sure that I don't work with any producer, director or actor who acts as if he/she is doing me a favour by working with me. I will refuse these films," he says. "I have several other options in life. I know how to cook, I know farming, hamaali, I can paint, I'm a sharp person, I can also write. Mere haath paav salamat hai (I'm hale and hearty). So don't worry about me," he adds. DEAN JOHN... Diplomacy is something that Salman has never handled well. It's just not his cup of tea. He recently showed his disapproval for his co-star of Baabul and Salaam-e-Ishq, John Abraham. John is "politically correct" was one of the reasons for the differences with the other actor. "He keeps calling me his senior as if I were some kind of dinosaur. We don't talk to each other, beyond a 'hello' when we meet," says Salman. Ask him if he missed playing the character Prem in Sooraj Barjatya's latest flick, Vivaah, and he promptly quips, "No, they missed me." KHAN I BEAT SRK? There is only Salman Khan who has constantly battled Shah Rukh Khan at the box-office. And even though they share a cordial relationship, Salman made a dig at SRK for over-publicising his film Don to the extent where people didn't even know that a film called Jaaneman was also releasing along with it. "After all Shah Rukh Khan had a release with me and it can't happen that a Salman Khan film does well and Shah Rukh's film flops. Iss baar hum thoda fail ho gaye (this time I failed) But I love SRK," he smiles. "I don't mind rivalry as long it's healthy and does not get malicious. With competition, I will get more serious. If at present I'm giving 2 per cent, I will give 3 per cent with competition at hand," he grins. * "John keeps calling me his senior as if I were some kind of dinosaur. We don't talk to each other, beyond a 'hello', when we meet" The naughty streak in Salman has never remained hidden. When asked what kind of roles would he like to essay now after crossing 40, he says, "Now I would like to play a college student who would come home screaming, Maa, maa, main first class first aaya hoon. Then I would like to play an MA, LLB student, but that will come next, maybe after 15 to 20 years!" And then bursts into laughter. His romantic side never remains hidden either. He says, "Appreciating good music is like falling in love. Just the way you want to see a girl you like, again and again, you want to hum a good tune again and again." NOT AN AD-ICT Despite being one of the top-notch stars for several years, Salman has not done many endorsements as compared to his contemporaries. Why? "Arre, milte nahin hain endorsements, karna kaun nahin chahta? (I don't get offers). The corporates don't want to touch me, may be because there are cases against me. I guess they are right in doing so. But I endorse what I like to endorse, I don't do it just for money. I wear Dollar vest, I wear Red Tape shoes. I believe that if I wear these things only then my fans will wear them too," he says. David Dhawan's Partner, Rumi Jaffrey's God Tussi Great Ho, Hollywood flick, Marigold are few of Salman's forthcoming releases. "I can sign more films if I want, but I'm taking it easy now," he says. A BEAUTIFUL LIFE It looks like Salman is slowing down, trying to control his unpredictability. "Yes, I have become a less erratic than what I was earlier," he confesses. At a gaming event held some time back in Mumbai, someone asked him if life was a game and we were all players. To this, he replied promptly, "I don't know. I feel that life is beautiful. Kisiki zindagi lambi hoti hai toh kisiki chhoti (some live longer whereas some have short life). But one should live life kingsize."
Светик ШРК: Из того, что я смотрела с Сальмашкой, любимыми остаются его ранние фильмы, такие как: - "Я полюбил",- наверное самый любимый, после просмотра которого, я стала его верной почитательницей, послала нафик свою первую любовь - Мандакини, стала распродавать всю коллекцию с ней и собирать новую с Саллу. - "Sajaan", - тоже один из любимых, плюс прекрасный актёрский состав и сюжет хороший. - "Love". Причём ни в одном из этих фильмов и в помине нет никаких кривляний.
Светик ШРК: После многих лет решила пересмотреть "LOVE". Раньше мне этот фильм очень нравился. И вдруг такой облом: в доме два видака и оба кассету выплёвывают! Всё, кина не будет! Обидно до слёз. По истечении времени кассета пришла в негодность. Жалко так - ведь фильм у нас в прокате не был. Помню лет 17-16 назад мне стоило огромных усилий и много уговоров, чтобы уломать одну девчонку, дабы она согласилась сделать для меня эту запись. Но если у кого есть такая возможность фильм посмотреть, то всем рекомендую. Фильма хорошая.

wichy: Попроси кого из мужчин, если сама не знаешь - а так - все просто - раскручиваешь кассету, смотришь, как там лежит пленка - берешь другую ненужную кассету, тоже раскручиваешь, меняешь в ней пленку на нужную тебе - только обязательно нужно пленку уложить так же, как лежала - и собираешь кассету с нужной пленкой.

Recently, Sallu lost his temper when his make-up van wasn't allowed into the Yashraj Studios premises. When Sallu reported on time for the shooting of David Dhawan's Partner at the Yashraj Studios, the guards present at the gate told him that as per rules, his vanity van wouldn't be allowed into the studio compound. Apparently, the rule book at Yashraj Studios mentions that make-up vans from outside will not be allowed into the studio. "Salman arrived at 9 am but as he was about to drive into the studio in his van when a guard stopped him. Salman explained that he couldn't shoot without his own make-up van at hand, but the guards on duty argued that they didn't have permission to allow make-up vans into the premises," says our source. Not one to take 'no' for an answer, the guard's behaviour did not go down well with the actor. "Salman likes his privacy, so whenever he is shooting in Mumbai, he uses his make-up van. In fact, he does not even use studio toilets, which other stars often use while shooting indoors," says our source.
