RGV’s spokesperson Ravi Prakash confirmed this news saying, “As of now, the title is Sarkar Raj.” Sarkar Raj will have a host of unknown faces to give the film a fresh look. It will bring the Bachchan’s - Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan and Aishwarya Rai together for the first time after the Kajra Re number in Bunty Aur Babli. It is believed that Aishwarya will not have a glamorous look in this film. She will be made to look simple like never before. Though Abhishek takes over the empire in Sarkar Raj, it is learnt that Amitabh has a significant role in the film. Ramu is currently working with Big B on Ram Gopal Varma Ke Sholay. The film is scheduled for a release on August 10. People at Yashraj tried desperately to retrieve the lost material, but could not do so. It is believed that a team of editors and technicians are working against time to set things right. Bhansali had already slated his film for a Novemeber 9 release since he did not see any competition around that time.Insiders in the industry say that the King Khan has packed in every possible masala in his film. It not only features him in a double role of a Bollywood actor but also has a song that stars 24 top Bollywood stars. The film also stars Arjun Rampal, Shreyas Talpade and newcomer Deepika Padukone. Bhansali’s film on the other hand is a period love story set in the pre-Independence era between a Hindu boy and Muslim girl. His favourite actor, Salman Khan, also has a brief but important role in the film. Rani Mukherji has been cast in a cameo role of a nautch girl in Saawariya.When contacted, the officials at Bhansali’s production house told us, "Our film is confirmed for a November 9 release and we won’t be changing it for any other film." Soniya: Hrithik Roshan may star in the sequel to Metro. The story will be set in a city other than Mumbai this time. With every film that Bollywood directors make these days, they ensure that a sequel follows soon. Or so is the case of Anurag Basu. After his film Metro set the cash registers ringing at the box office, he has decided to follow it up with an apt sequel which will be titled Metro 2 . Reportedly, the big news is that Hrithik Roshan, who had earlier expressed a desire to work with Anurag, will star in this sequel. Anurag, on his part, is working at super speed. The scripting is already underway and the film is expected to go on the floors later this year. He says, "We loved the idea of making a sequel to Metro. My writer Sanjeev Dutta and I are currently busy finalising the script. Rest of the things will fall in place after that." As for roping in Hrithik Roshan, Anurag says, "Rakesh Roshan has seen Gangster and Metro, and he loved both the films. He expressed Hrithik's wish to work with me once the script is ready and approved. Once the script is decided on, casting will get going." Ram Mirchandani, VP, of a production company, says, "Yes, it is true that we are planning a sequel to Metro. It is one of the films that we are very proud of. Metro 2 will start where Metro ended. We are currently thinking of various other locations for Metro 2 . Mumbai is not the only metropolitan city, after all. Metro 2 can be situated in Delhi or even in London, for that matter. Anurag will obviously direct it as it is completely his baby and we intend to start the film after the casting is done." What prompted them to go ahead with a sequel? Mirchandani says, "The film is currently running in its seventh week and has just completed a 50-day run at the box-office. Even the feedback we have received has been quite encouraging." When quizzed if Hrithik Roshan will be a part of the film, Mirchandani says, "This is something which only Anurag can confirm. I can't confirm anything at this moment." With grander plans for the dream factory, Shankar seems ready to set Bollywood on fire with a universal plot that might make a big blip on the Hollywood radar. A sci-fiction with a fetching title, Robot might have Hrithik Roshan’s fans asking for more. The story doing the rounds in industry circles is that Hrithik might don the lead role if his dates match with that of the other ‘big’ players on the cards. Kollywood sceptics who pooh poohed the idea of a science fiction (Shankar has been talking about this project for a while now) may soon sing another tune. If you were staggered by the extravaganza called Sivaji - The Boss, rumoured to have cost Rs 60 crore, then prepare yourself to be awed as the next project may cost three times more. “Such figures are chicken feed given the fact that corporates are entering movies in a big way,” said an actor. “And with Hollywood opening up to Indian talent with projects such as Shantaram, there is plenty of market potential,” felt a trade analyst in Mumbai. The film may call for plenty of CGI (Computer Graphics Imaging), but then Shankar underwent his trial by fire when he shot Sivaji. India has proved her mettle in the field of animation and digital effects so Shankar might have no qualms about his latest venture, said an industry source. However, the director, who went abroad for a well-earned holiday a week before the release of Sivaji on June 15, is expected back in Chennai in the next couple of days. The film is directed by Farah Khan and is produced by SRK's company Red Chillies. Despite repeated attempts, T-Series chairman and managing director Bhushan Kumar and Shah Rukh Khan were not available for comment. However, sources inform that the deal has been struck for an amount in the range of Rs 60 - 70 million (Rs 6 - 7 crore), making it the biggest audio buy ever. The highlight of the music and the film is that close to 36 film personalities (mostly actors), from the Hindi film fraternity come together in one song and even do small cameos throughout the film. Mumbai, July 05, 2007 (Thursday) - An unidentified person allegedly sent an e-mail to a private news channel warning of an explosion at actor Amitabh's residence "Jalsa" in suburban Juhu, forcing the police to carry out a thorough search of the premises. The search was carried out for an hour from 1500 hours on Wednesday. "I received a call from the news channel saying that they have received an e-mail saying that a bomb would go off at Jalsa at 4:30 pm. A team from the Bomb Detection and Disposal Squad was immediately rushed to the spot, but no explosive material was found," Additional Commissioner of Police (West Region) Archana Tyagi told the media. She, however, did not reveal the name of the Private News channel, which received the mail. All the necessary precautions were taken during the search without disrupting the traffic movement on the busy road opposite the bungalow, the police said. The world famous company is keen to invest in SRK's Red Chillies Entertainment. Buzz is that they have offered to invest a whopping $30 million into the deal. Representatives of Walt Disney Pictures flew down from Los Angles to London, where SRK was staying on his last trip to the UK. A source says, "Officials from Walt Disney Pictures flew down to meet Shah Rukh while he holidaying in London with his family. Walt Disney has plans of investing $30 million in the first phase of their partnership tenure. Given SRK's popularity abroad, other international companies like Sony Pictures and Rupert Murdoch's company had also shown interest in investing in Red Chillies Entertainment. Although SRK hasn't confirmed the deal yet, it might be interesting if he decides to do so." When contacted Bobby Chawla, Shah Rukh's manager confirmed the news without divulging too many details. He said, "I don't want to comment on this subject. I only know that Walt Disney officials had met Shah Rukh, but I am not too sure what happened after that." Meanwhile Arjun Mitra, head of Red Chillies Studio, said, "All the information you're seeking is highly confidential and I can't talk about it." Фильм опять будут снимать в Нью-Йорке (Сония, слышишь??? Снова едет Шах. И с ним Ясин... ), тема фильма - важные социальные проблемы - безопасность и терроризм. Каран провел достаточно серьезные исследования на эту тему.

Как мне тут нравится соответствие : в первом случае - зажгите биди (тонкие сигаретки без фильтра, скрученные прямо всырую листки табака), во втором - Не курить...... Бипаша отрывается по полной....

If reports are to be believed, Karan Johar is ready to create a casting coup in his next movie, which is tentatively titled ‘Khan’. While it goes without saying that SRK will helm the cast of any K-Jo film, what comes as a pleasant surprise is that Kajol will team up again with SRK after many years. SRK and Kajol have been a very hit Bollywood jodi and have given hits like Kuch Kuch Hota Hai , Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham , and the superhit Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge . Karan Johar, who made Kajol make a cameo appearance in his last movie Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna , reportedly told Kajol that he could not make his next movie ‘Khan’ without her. Grapevine has it that the dusky beauty has agreed to act in the film. Kajol returned to acting last year after a long sabbatical with Kunal Kohli’s film Fanaa in which she paired for the first time with Aamir Khan . Karan Johar’s next film will not just be a movie about relationships. Sources say it will raise certain social issues that are very relevant to contemporary times when Muslims find themselves under constant scrutiny in the west. wichy: отсюда Sridevi would be seen after a hiatus in Rajkumar Santoshi's HALLA BOL. Ok, now don't jump out of your chair and expect her appearance in the film as a comeback of sorts. Also, it also isn't something that was kept under wraps and is now suddenly being disclosed as the film is getting ready for release. Instead Sridevi is just making a guest appearance in the film. Since the film is centered on Bollywood with Ajay Devgan playing a star actor who has been through rags to riches journey, HALLA BOL features a number of personalities related to the Hindi film industry. Confirming the developments Rajkumar Santoshi said, 'Yes, there are a number of stars in guest appearances. They are friends and they have just played themselves. Not just Sridevi, the film would also see Boney Kapoor, Jackie Shroff, Ruby Bhatia, Pahlaj Nihalani, Neeraj Vora, Tusshar Kapoor, Ranjit Kapoor, Mukesh Tiwari, Kareena Kapoor and Lekh Tandon.' It has been more than a decade since Sridevi was seen in a notable role on the big screen. JUDAAI came way back in 1997 and though this Raj Kanwar film was a success, Sridevi wasn't lured by the continuous offers that kept pouring in and retired gracefully. Later in 2005 she was seen in a stray MERI BIWI KA JAWAAB NAHIN but the long stuck in the cans film hardly got a respectable release with its arrival at theaters turning out to be a hush-hush affair. In fact not many were aware about the very existence of this film starring Akshay Kumar as most of the cast and crew disassociated themselves with the project and even failed to dub for it. No wonder, the film sunk without a trace. Now with murmurs about the possibility of Sridevi appearing in the sequel to MR. INDIA, one guesses that the wait is going to be a little longer before she makes a much anticipated full fledged comeback.
