wichy: ф тему Sporting a new slimmer look, Adnan Sami reveals that he feel like an altogether new human post the weight loss. He is a firm believer in fate and attributes his success to the Almighty. "Frankly there is no such secret. No body can ever predict which song is going to be a hit or a flop. If such a formula was known to any one then all songs would have been hits. So there can be no predictions. But I try to sing those songs which I like personally so that I can enjoy them myself and so do the listeners. I try to be choosy with what I do and the rest I leave to God." Speaking to us at the Spectral Harmony Studio on Saturday last where he was present to record a song "Oh Jaana Oh Jaana, Yeh Dil Ka Afsana" under the baton ship of music director Bhappi Lahiri, Adnan is full of praise for his music composer. The song is for the film 'Jhoom-Dance With Me Again' produced by Aaishwarya Babbar son of producer and director B Subhash under the banner Aaishwarya Movie Productions. The film will be directed by Shweta B Subhash and is written by Malveika B Subhash, daughters of B Subhash. Adnan says it was his third recording with Bhappida. "I have been his fan ever since my childhood." The song which we have recorded today is very fun-filled and youthful song. Bhappi Da always composes awesome melodies and his sense of rhythm is also great. So in this song too there is tremendous melody and rhythm and a lot of heart is put behind composing the song. I have also tried my best to sing it with all my heart. He feels that the people are going to like the songs as 'the melody and the mood of the songs are very bright and this song is a very peppy number'. Very fond of listening to Bhappi Lahiri's songs, he cites a number of them as examples. "Songs like 'Chalte Chalte' and 'Dil Mein Ho Tum' are very beautiful songs. There are many songs which can be named like the ones from the film 'Namak Halaal' were fantastic." He would have loved to sing all of Bhappi's songs. The talented singer feels that B Subhash is a very good director and his films speak for themselves. In Adnan's opinion the two different styles that of Bhappi Lahiri and himself would result in a fusion. He likes Bhappi's style of work. "He knows exactly what he wants and he also gives the singer the freedom to put in his own creativity to use." Adnan goes on to add, "He never limits his singers. Thus the singer puts in his creativity and the resulting fusion becomes very interesting. He encourages the singer to make his own changes which I think is wonderful." The composer in Adnan does not get in the way while he is performing for another director. "When ever I come for a play-back singing, I come solely as a singer and I try to meet to the demand of the composer. Though there is my flavour in the song but it is that of a singer and not of a composer. I never say that I could have done better as composer. Every person has a different creative vision and one should always respect that." According to the singer, it would be an honour for him to have Bhappi sing his composition. He feels Bhappi Lahiri's 'melody is always strong and his fusion sense between western and eastern music is tremendous.' Bhappi's 'sense of rhythm too is very good.' But, according to Adnan, the music composer's greatest quality is his Indian melody which is very strong and registers with the listeners. Regarding his weight loss, Adnan says he feels like he is floating! "I feel like a new human being." According to him, it has been a tough journey losing so much weight. He admits putting in a lot of effort and struggle. "My health had reached such a point where my doctors had given up all hope. They had given me an ultimatum that if I don't start taking care of my health I would survive only for six more months. It came as a shock for me. Currently in London, they dropped in on the sets of Vivek Agnihotri's Goal at the Mill Wall Football Club where John Abraham, Bipasha Basu and Arshad Warsi were shooting for the film. The couple was put up in the same hotel, St. James Court, as the director and his team. The love-birds dropped in on the sets and spent the entire evening cheering the players and watching the match. The director was shooting a scene where the goal keeper misses saving a goal, according to the script. But, while shooting, the goalkeeper ended up saving it! Just then Abhishek, who was watching closely, yelled out, "Can I go and replace him?" This had the spectators in splits. This warm gesture will always remain a fond memory from London, according to director Vivek Agnihotri, "I was glad to see them here, but I wasn't too surprised as I know how big a football fan Abhishek is. In true Bhatt tradition, the romantic thriller, shot in Hong Kong, will boast of chartbusting music by Pritam, on Sa Re Ga Ma. Awarapan will also be the Bhatts' and Emraan Hashmi's first principal theatrical outing in the overseas market. The International Division of Studio 18 has become synonymous with promoting and making a success of films with new names (Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd., Kya Love Story Hai) internationally, and Awarapan will be their next from the 2007 line-up. The actress, who usually wears a burkha while travelling to remain unnoticed, had a tough time clinging on to her veil. An eyewitness says, "These two kids had somehow got a glimpse of her as she was coming out of the airport with her staff. They were very excited to see her and wanted to talk to her. But she wanted to avoid them." Unlike her fellow colleagues Dia Mirza, Katrina Kaif, Minissha Lamba, Akshay Kumar and Sonu Nigam who were in Dubai early this week (they were all performing at a local businessman's family wedding), Mallika was seen hiding behind burkhas and pillars alike. Nevertheless, the not-so-friendly actress was seen almost throwing off her burkha as soon as she got into her chauffeur-driven car. Only the immediate and extended family of the Bachchans—brother Ajitabh and his family, sister Shweta and her in-laws which includes all the Kapoors –are being invited. Besides these the only people you'll see at the event are Abhishek's close friends like Sikandar Kher, Goldie Behl and Rohan Sippy. Karan Johar, who's like a son to the Bachchans, and J.P. Dutta whom Abhishek looks on as a father figure, are expected to be at the wedding. The lady of the house Jaya Bachchan is supervising every detail. In fact, the Big B and the dulha are keeping completely out of the preparations, and that includes the invitees' list. Jaya being firm of mind and resolute in her purposes has kept the fanfare to the barest minimum. Now it seems that Himesh Reshammiya's turn has come to face the camera bare-chested as he rechristens himself as HR in his acting debut AAP KAA SURROOR. The promos of the film have arrived and in one of the passing shots, one can spot Himesh exposing a little more than what one would have accepted him to do as he wears nothing underneath his jacket. And guess what, with his bare chest display sans any hair, he only appears to be enhancing his rock star image. With the release of the film late summer, it would be worthwhile to see if he goes the full distance and gives Salman and Upen a run for their money. The guest list (the one aspect of the marriage that's causing maximum heartburn among celebs) is more or less final, so are the song-and-dance performances for the mehndi, on April 19. Besides family, that's Amitabh, Jaya's and Aishwarya's families and Shweta Bachchan's in-laws, the Kapoors, only a sprinkling of names from the film industry are on the Super A-list. There's Karan Johar and mom Hiroo, Yash Chopra and wife and sons Aditya and Uday, Sanjay Dutt, Ajay Devgan and Kajol, Suneil Shetty, Goldie and Srishti Behl and Sonali Bendre, Anupam and Kirron Kher with son Sikander, Sunil Doshi and his family. And, of course, Anil and Tina Ambani and Amar Singh and his wife. Two of Abhishek's closes buddies, Goldie Behl and Sikander Kher, will be performing at the mehndi ceremony on April 19. Taking refuge under the mystifying Yash Raj Banner, TRRP is a film, which obviously looks quite handsome at face value. However, let’s hope it turns out a little better than SN. Today we take the time to dig a little deeper into what TA RA RUM PUM is all about. We look passed the big names, slick look, and stylish hype to bring you the heart n’ soul of TA RA RUM PUM… Do opposites really attract? Well according to Rajveer Singh (Saif Ali Khan) and Radhika (Rani Mukherjee) they sure do! Rajveer Singh (aka RV) is a wide-eyed dreamer full of ambition, aspiration and hopes. Living in New York, RV has always had one passion in life, and that is to race cars professionally. This is the baby you see holding one race car in his hand, with another tucked snug in his diaper. RV was never into the whole “learning” part of life; and after his parents passed away, he decided to dropout of college and pursue his ambitious dreams full-time. The man was so passionate (or desperate?) to be around race cars that he took his first steps as part of the pit-crew of a racing team. Although miles away from feeling the adrenaline of actually driving one of these race cars, he seemed content in his efforts. But… yup you guessed it, life took a drastic turn… upwards that is. It took only one cab-ride for RVs life to change (in more ways than he could ever imagine). Протащилась от стилзов к Метро - несколько с грузином и шилпой валяются в теме Грузина, а здесь те, которые не относятся к грузину, но которые особо понравились: Надеюсь, не тока стилзы будут такие классные - но и вся операторская работа. Конкона выглядит прикольно, такой "синий чулок" по-индийски, вот эта картинка с Ирфаном и Конконой - валяться!!!
wichy: Вот тоже прикольно. Уже люблю заочно эту парочку :-) Если не ошибаюсь - Конкона играет девушку-"ботаника", которая училась-училась, а оказалось, что ей уже 30, а мужика-то и нет... А Иррфан - противоположность, нечто вроде старого холостяка, который увивается за каждой юппкой.
